The Armed Forces Museum mainly displays tangible objects and related photo images, it is not a historical materials archive collection unit. Before 1949, the national army archives occupation was handed over to the National Archives Administration, the National Development Council of the Executive Yuan. 1. The opening hours of the Armed Forces Museum is from Monday to Friday and every Saturday of the first, third and fifth week of the month from 0900 to 1600.
2. The Armed Forces Museum will not be open on Sundays, national holidays and when the Executive Branch calls off work (such as during typhoons). The Museum shall cease to be open on work days during the Spring Festival Holidays when the Executive Branch calls off work announced by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of the Executive Yuan; the Museum will be closed on Armed Forces Day or on amendment holidays; if the National Holidays are adjusted by the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of the Executive Yuan as flexible holidays, the Museum will also be closed on flexible holidays.
3. The Armed Forces Museum will be closed during the unloading operations or internal construction and maintenance of the Museum, and the reopening time will be announced on the official website.
