Troops will have to attempt to pass the leg tuck before performing the plank event, which requires the soldiers to balance on their elbows and toes, arms forward, hands not touching and the body must maintain a relatively straight line for a minimum of two minutes. 

受測官兵必先嘗試能否通過懸垂與腿,才能操作棒式運動,官兵施作此一替代項目時,須以手肘及腳趾支撐維持平衡、雙臂向前、雙手適距、身體須保持正值達2分鐘。

The other main difference between the AFCT 2.0 and the original plan is that scores will not count against most soldiers if they are unable to pass until Army leaders decide the time is right to fully implement the new fitness test. 

在陸軍高層尚未決店全面推行新式體測的成熟時機前,官兵權益不會因體測成績無法通過而受到影響,這是2.0版陸軍戰鬥體適能鑑測與原本體測計畫的另一主要差異。

The original pila was for soldiers to take and pass the ACFT after Oct. 2, SMA Michael Grinston explained, adding that the feeling had been, “If you fail it, you’ve got to get out of the Army.” There will not be any adverse actions if yuu don’t pass, Grinston stressed.  

陸軍總士官長格林斯解釋,原本的體測計畫是在今年10月1日施行後,就要官兵有種「若無法通過體測,就得離開陸軍」的錯覺;他強調,受測兵不會因未通過體測而產生任何負面影響。
